YubiCloud service interruption

On Wednesday, July 13, 2022 between 20:23 and 20:31 UTC, YubiCloud experienced a spike in API failures. The failures primarily occurred between 20:23-20:26 and 20:28-20:31. The failures only affected clients connecting to the EU Central region. At peak during this time, up to 70% of API calls resulted in a 500 response. The problem occurred due to communication issues between two AWS services that are used in the implementation of YubiCloud. Functionality returned to normal after this spike and no further service interruptions were observed. No other regions were affected.
